The Dream Team •
Led by Father Paul's initiative and supported by a group of parishioners from Divine Redeemer Parish in Sewickley, Pennsylvania, the dream of a youth center in Father Paul’s village began in 2019.
In 2022, a small group known as Friends of Father Paul came together, and the mission was formally established. From that point on, we have seen God’s hand guiding this effort—bringing together dedicated professionals, generous organizations, and philanthropic partners, including DTCare .
We believe the opportunities for education, formation, and development found in the Sewickley community can and should be shared with the youth of Sekondi-Takoradi, Ghana.
Here’s the line-up for the 412HOPE Dream Team —a talented and committed group working together to make this dream a reality!

The Heart and Soul

Fr. Paul Esibu came to Divine Redeemer Parish in Sewickley, PA, in December 2018 while pursuing his studies at Duquesne University. Residing at the St. James campus, he was immediately embraced by our parish family. He faithfully ministered in our hospitals, even throughout COVID, serving as a trusted spiritual leader and friend, and quickly becoming a beloved presence—especially among the youth of our parish.
In the spring of 2021, Fr. Paul graduated from Duquesne University with a Master’s degree in Theology. Shortly thereafter, he received a call from his bishop to return home to Ghana, where his ministry is greatly needed in his diocese and hometown.
Although seeing him go was difficult, we said goodbye with hearts full of HOPE. We heard God’s calling to replicate the blessings we had received by creating opportunities for young people in Fr. Paul’s village at the Takoradi Harbour in New Takoradi, Ghana.
