Join us in Mission!

As we continue our journey to support Father Paul's dream of creating a safe space for the youth in his village—where they can build community, learn, and grow in their faith with Jesus—we’ve come to realize the profound challenges faced by communities in Ghana. From our vantage point of comfort and opportunity, it’s hard to imagine the daily struggles these young people endure. Yet, their determination to break the cycle of poverty is truly inspiring.

Many young individuals are reaching out, eager to pursue education and personal development, but they need our financial support to make it possible. Below, we highlight the most meaningful ways to join us in this mission:

What seems ordinary for some might represent a daily struggle for others. Basic items like hygiene products, clothing, sports gear, school supplies, snacks, and toys, but also elementary and higher education opportunities, come as a luxury for most families of Saint Peter’s Church, New Takoradi, Ghana. Your donation will multiply like loaves and fishes, bringing joy and HOPE to youth in true need. Learn about the necessities of some of these young people below.

  • I am Boison Franklin, a recent graduate with big dreams, especially in the medical field. Honestly, being a doctor is my ultimate goal, but this dream continues to remain a dream due to the financial constraints of my household. This issue has caused me a loss in my early educational life and is willing to throw its sharp arrows at my university entry.

Growing up, I saw how tough it is for people in my community to get decent healthcare. That's what pushed me to want to be a doctor – to make a difference where it's needed the most. And let's be real, college is expensive, so this opportunity would be a game-changer for me and my family.

I've always been into my studies, acing my classes despite not having a lot to work with.

But it's not just about me,I want to give back to Ghana. Our health system needs a boost, and I want to be part of the solution. Whether it's doing outreach in communities, getting involved in research, or even speaking up about healthcare policies, I'm all in.

Ghana deserves better healthcare, and I believe with your support, I can get the skills I need to make a real impact. I'm not just asking for money; I'm asking for a chance to make a positive mark on our country.

Thanks a bunch for considering my application!

    Yours Sincerely,

    Boison Franklin.

  • Paula: A Bright Future in the Making

Paula is a bright and determined 9-year-old girl who needs financial support to continue her education. Her young parents, raising five children, face immense challenges in meeting the needs of their family.

To support Paula, Father Paul arranged for her to stay with a local woman who could offer temporary shelter. Despite this effort, Paula’s situation remains difficult and her future uncertain.

Father Paul notes, “Her parents chose to name her after me, seeing something positive in my life that they hoped for their daughter. Paula also carries my tribal name, Fakye, which means ‘forgive.’” Despite the challenges she faces, Paula continues to persevere, managing her mild asthma with traditional herbal remedies.

Paula’s story exemplifies the resilience and hope of the youth in New Takoradi. With the right support, we can help Paula and others like her achieve their dreams.

  • I am Veronica Gwira, a law student at the University of Ghana School of Law in Ghana, and in my fourth year of studies. I am a member of the Federation of African Law Students (FALAS), and I have been selected as a delegate to attend this year's annual conference to be held in Dar Es Salaam,

Tanzania. The total sum is estimated to One Thousand Five hundred US Dollars ($1,500). This sum caters for the registration fee (non-sharing of a room) and a round plane ticket, including a tour in Kenya.

Last year, I had the opportunity to be sponsored by the church, and I had an educative and memorable experience. I am really grateful for such a beautiful opportunity. I have been selected once again as a delegate, and I would love to build more connections and grow more relationships whilst acquiring new legal skills through this year’s conference.

I therefore humbly write to seek sponsorship to enable me attend the aforementioned

conference, which be held from 13th to 18th October 2024. Registration however, ends on 30th August 2024.

Attached to this letter is my letter of delegation, and flyers from the Federation providing further details and serving as proof of prices.

Thank you, and I hope my request is given positive consideration.

    Yours sincerely,

    Veronica Gwira

The dream of a youth center in Father Paul’s village began in 2019. In 2022, the mission was formed, and the initial funds were raised. Now the project is ready to break ground, and we need your continued support through prayer and fundraising to create a safe, faith-rooted environment where young people can learn, grow, and develop life and employable skills for a sustainable future.
